In person in Mid Powys, or remotely
In-person private Occupational Therapy is available to discuss at The Old Swan, Rhayader, Powys LD6 5AB. Remote support can also be explored where it is appropriate for your needs. We will agree the location or format, suitability, availability and any travel arrangements before booking.
Some needs require an in-person assessment or a different service. The initial conversation helps establish whether Namrata's support is appropriate; remote support is not suitable for every situation.
02
Mental and physical health experience
Namrata's work spans both mental and physical health services. Occupational Therapy considers the interaction between the person, their environment and the activities they need or want to do — rather than looking at a diagnosis in isolation.
- Understanding difficulties with daily routines, roles and meaningful activities.
- Exploring how physical health or emotional wellbeing affects participation.
- Considering the environment and possible ways to adapt everyday activity.
- Agreeing individual priorities and a suitable plan of support after assessment.

An experienced, independent practitioner
As of October 2026, Namrata has been qualified for eight years. She has worked in city and rural settings, in statutory, private and third-sector organisations, and has established Occupational Therapy services. She is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
Private OT support is a separate service, not included automatically in a Life Profile or CHC enquiry. The assessment, recommendations and any ongoing work are agreed specifically for you.

Start with a conversation
Reach out with a brief description of what you are looking for and whether you prefer in-person support in Mid Powys or remote support. We will discuss suitability, consent, the scope of work and fees before you decide.
This is not an emergency or crisis service, and does not replace your existing treating team. If another service is better placed to help, we will be honest about the limits of what can be offered.
