For Occupational Therapy students & practitioners

Supervision & practice education.

A thoughtful space to reflect on practice, strengthen your professional reasoning and explore the Occupational Therapist you want to become. Namrata welcomes enquiries about private supervision and practice-education support.

Space to think. Support to develop.

01

Private professional supervision

For Occupational Therapists who would value a separate, reflective conversation about their work — whether in a statutory service, independent practice or a third-sector organisation. The focus is agreed with you rather than drawn from a fixed programme.

  • Clinical and occupational reasoning, and keeping occupation central to practice.
  • Reflecting on complex situations, communication and professional boundaries.
  • Professional identity, confidence and development goals.
  • Working across services, or exploring independent practice and service development.

02

For students and practice-education enquiries

Future Occupational Therapy students and those currently studying can enquire about reflective support, professional development and private practice-education arrangements. We will discuss your stage of learning and what kind of input would be helpful.

Any formal placement, practice educator role, assessment or sign-off must meet your university or employer's requirements and be agreed with the relevant organisation. An enquiry does not guarantee a placement, recognised supervision hours or formal assessment authority.

03

Experience that informs the conversation

Namrata has been qualified for eight years as of October 2026. She has worked in mental and physical health services, in city and rural settings, across statutory, private and third-sector organisations. She has also established Occupational Therapy services.

This breadth supports grounded conversations about professional reasoning and how practice changes across settings — while recognising that each student's or practitioner's context is different.

04

Clear, agreed boundaries

Before starting, we discuss your goals, availability, meeting arrangements, fees, confidentiality and the limits of the supervision relationship. Supervision can be held remotely, or in person at The Old Swan, Rhayader, Powys LD6 5AB.

Private supervision does not replace employer governance, mandatory supervision or urgent safeguarding processes. Please anonymise case discussions; client-identifiable information should not be included in an initial email. Any formal education arrangement is subject to suitability and the required agreements.
